Renault has extended its advertising contract with Publicis Groupe for a further three years.

The deal will enable the car marque “to maintain collaboration” with the advertising giant for the next three years, across its portfolio of brands globally

In a statement, the agency says: “Renault and Publicis Groupe have signed an agreement to maintain their collaboration for another three years – 2010, 2011 and 2012. The agreement principally covers strategy, creative work, production and coordination for the entire Renault portfolio of brands, products and services -Renault, Dacia and Samsung.”

The agency also says it is aiming to help the car marque expand into overseas markets.

The statement adds: “The partnership between Renault and Publicis Groupe will also feature an enlarged footprint spanning 28 countries, including the leading markets where Renault operates around the world.”

Renault is to run a brand campaign early next year to support its shift to a sustainability-based marketing strategy. I recently expanded its brand with the launch of a new Sky TV channel, called Renault TV.
