The film is the culmination of the children’s charity’s Teen’s Speech campaign, which was supported by Mercury Music prize winner Speech Debelle.
The campaign aimed to give young people an opportunity to get their views heard and give the public a glimpse of how young people in the UK see the year ahead.
The film features teenagers from across the UK talking about their views and fears about issues including poverty, gangs, crime, sex, self-harm, and politics.
The film will air on the homepages of MySpace and YouTube at 3.10pm on Christmas Day.
As part of the Teens’ Speech campaign, teenagers were invited to upload their own short speeches to a dedicated YouTube channel and debate with each other on MySpace and Facebook.
Daily polls ran on MySpace to allow young people to have their say on important issues.
Earlier in December, Barnardo’s launched a television campaign, which highlights its fight to support sexually exploited children using a “filmic palindrome”.
It also launched an outdoor poster campaign, which included an interactive billboard in London.
