Increasing visitor numbers, length-of-stay and the overall promotion of Puerto Rico as a desirable, accessible and year-round visitor destination will be the main goals of the campaign devised by the agency.
Additional attention will be placed on historical attractions, cruise development and promotion of the vibrant and unique melting pot of Spanish, pre-Columbian, African and North American cultures, as well as the myriad of natural experiences and some 300 miles of beautiful beaches that this tropical Caribbean island has to offer.

Trade representation is currently underway and includes sales calls, sales agent training, product updates and tour operator relations. The public relations activity will commence on 1 January 2010.
