Superman has a hand in TV ad

EDF Energy is to launch a Superman-themed television and online campaign to promote its Eco 20:20 tariff.

The advertisement features clips from the Superman films and TV series, starring some of the best-known actors to have played the iconic superhero, including Christopher Reeve and Dean Cain.

A mock-up of the fictional newspaper from the Superman series, The Daily Planet, highlights how the Eco 20:20 tariff can help save customers money and reduce their carbon footprint.

The ad, the latest phase of EDF’s It’s Not Easy Being Green campaign, was created by Euro RSCG and debuts on 10 January across terrestrial, satellite and Freeview stations.
