Profero promotes Blunden to UK CEO

Digital creative agency Profero has promoted Nick Blunden to UK CEO.

Blunden moves up from MD and will be responsible for overseeing all four Profero businesses, creative ad agency Profero London, media business Profero Performance, Profero Connect, its technology business, and its new social media division, Yabber.

Blunden previously oversaw the Profero London division.

The promotion followed the departure of European CEO Daniele Fiandaca in December to pursue other opportunities (nma 8 December 2009).

Blunden said, “We have these four different business and they’re creating a lot of new business opportunities so I’m spending a lot time talking to existing clients and new clients to see where they can fit into their agency relationships.”

Blunden said he was disappointed at the lack of great digital work last year.

“Looking at the industry as a whole I was disappointed in the overall quality of the work. In 2010 we have all got to focus on the work so I want our team to create great transformational ideas,” he added.
