Car company to drive e-CRM programme

A major car brand is to embark on a new electronic customer relationship marketing programme following a contract renewal with its services provider.

Renault UK has signed a three-year deal with Database Group Interactive, which already provides email distribution.

Renault currently sends around 300,000 customers an email newsletter each month. This database will now be developed further to provide target groups for relevant communications through their ownership cycle.

Andy Holmes, e-commerce and customer marketing manager, Renault UK, says: “We are looking forward to working with DbGi for a further three years, kicking off with enhancements to our e-CRM programme. These will allow us to keep in touch with our customers in an increasingly personal and relevant way – for example, reminding individuals when particular services are due and relevant offers available.”
