Yorkshire Tea launches new marketing push

Yorkshire Tea is launching a £3.7m integrated campaign to promote its new brand messaging and drive consumer awareness of its offerings.

The tea brand has re-branded its packaging and from today (1 February), will now carry the message “Yorkshire Tea, From Yorkshire, where teatime’s important.” It will accompany a new “Help us save the rainforest” promotion on-packs.

The new messaging will be promoted with TV, radio, press and website activity. The campaign will run till the end of March.

Yorkshire TV says the new campaign aims to “continue to drive awareness and trial of the brand, providing an overlay to our in-store promotional and on-pack activity.”

Rival brand Twinings recently signed a deal to make its Twinings Everyday brand Rainforest Alliance certified and is currently the airing the latest instalment of its ‘Discover the Art of Tea’ campaign.

Horlicks has also opted to return to television screens with the launch of a new integrated ad campaign, which broke last month.
