Experian CreditExpert launches educational TV ad

Experian CreditExpert, the online credit checking service, is launching a new UK advertising campaign in a bid to boost awareness of its availability to consumers.

The company hope the UK campaign will help to educate consumers about their finances and to help protect them from the ever-present risk of identity fraud. It wants to communicate the benefits of consumers being in control of their credit history by using CreditExpert. The campaign

It is particularly targeting the advertising at people looking to move home, or looking for a new mobile phone contract and need to monitor their credit report to give themselves the best chance of securing the deal they want.

The ads have been created by The Red Brick Road and will include TV, print, radio, online advertising and digital communications. Maxus Global handled media planning and buying.

Once users sign up, CreditExpert’s members will receive regular alerts whenever there are significant changes to their report, helping them spot and stop identity fraud before it can become a problem.

Last year, Experian promoted former Tiscali and Freeserve marketer Peter Turner to managing director of its interactive division for UK and Ireland. It also appointed i-Level to handle the digital media planning and buying for its portfolio of brands.
