Thomas Cook adds TripAdvisor content to site

Thomas Cook has added ratings from travel review site TripAdvisor to search results on thomascook.com to help customers choose which hotel to book for their holiday.

TripAdvisor lets travellers review and rate hotels they’ve stayed at. Thomascook.com will now feature content from the site, including the five most recent hotel reviews, on its property pages.

There will be further content added to destination pages on thomascook.com, including best-ofs, top attractions and restaurants. It will also feature the five most recent reviews of places to stay, dine and visit.

David Hilton, deputy director of ecommerce at Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, said including TripAdvisor reviews would help “make our visitors’ online journeys as easy as possible”.

In December, Thomas Cook signed a partnership with Friends Reunited letting users book holidays directly from the social network.
