The brand spot is called titled “The Drama Continues” and features stars contracted to TV shows being made by different studios.

The spot cuts seamlessly between the leading actors one continuous piece of action, capturing each star in his or her iconic environment. Those filmed for the spot include Laurence Fishburne of CSI (pictured), Joseph Fiennes of FlashForward, Gary Sinise of CSI: New York, Simon Baker of The Mentalist, Mark Harmon of NCIS and Marg Helgenberger of CSI. The spot also carries existing footage of David Caruso (CSI: Miami).

The shoot took place in Hollywood last month on the set of each of the five series. This is believed to be the first time that Warner Bros., CBS Television Studios and Disney’s ABC Studios have agreed jointly to release their key talent to be involved in the filming of a single promo.

The ad is soundtracked by London band Flotation Toy Warning and its track happy 13.

The spot was commissioned and overseen by Five creative director Nol Davis and Five campaign manager Tessa Cannon.
