Frank The Agency closes its doors

Frank The Agency Ltd, an integrated marketing specialist agency, has announced that it has ceased to trade with immediate effect.

The Cheshire based agency was on the advertising rosters for clients, including jewellers Beaverbrooks, British Airways World Cargo, First Group, the British Airways London Eye, Madame Tussauds and the Merlin Sea Life Centres.

In its last annual report, the company declared billings of £5.2m, however the company’s directors now say they are working to complete outstanding business, including assisting their clients with ongoing work to ensure a smooth transition.

The agency was founded in 2000 and was a specialist in the travel, tourism and destination marketing sector. Some of its previous clients include the COI, Territorial Army, Army Cadet Force, Persimmon Homes, Pochin Homes and CN Group.

Ian Helsby, a director at frank, says: “This is a very sad time for us all at frank, particularly as we were due to celebrate our 10th Birthday in April this year. With the challenging economic conditions of late faced by the industry as a whole we were unfortunately not able to continue.

“However, we are all immensely proud of what we have achieved over the years, winning many awards for our work and helping our clients achieve some fantastic returns on their investment. We all leave frank with our heads held high and look forward to our next challenge.”
