The alcohol brand hopes consumers will learn about the story and history of Bacardi Rum by interacting with the films. The site is themed around the idea you can learn the story of the rum ’in the time it takes to make an original Bacardi Mojito’.
The site features seven online films, one of which depicts how Bacardi has inspired famous cocktails such as the mojito and daiquiri.
The Bacardirumandfamily.com site sits within the Bacardi global site and launched in the US, Canada and Denmark this week, with the UK to follow.
Gregoire Assemat-Tessandier, head of digital at Bacardi Global Brands, said, “The interactive experience is visually arresting and fits perfectly with Bacardi’s DNA.”
The site was created by Barcardi’s digital agency Glue.
