Brickhill, a former Procter & Gamble marketing director, will move to the company’s Brussels office and report to Arthur De Bok, president of EMEA at Goodyear Dunlop.

He will be responsible for continuing to raise awareness of the brand, which is a partner of the Le Mans 24 hour race and the British Touring Car Championship.

Brickhill worked at P&G for 17 years including a spell as UK marketing director, before being promoted to multi-functional business team leader and managing director for the company’s fabric care business for the UK, Ireland and Nordics.

At Goodyear, he will be replaced by George Rietbergen, currently general manager for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg, as the new managing director UK and Ireland. The two will swap roles next month.

De Bok says: “Since joining the company, Mark has provided significant leadership in the reorganization of the UK business. This experience as well as his strong marketing background will be beneficial in the new role as we go through significant market changes”
