On The Beach chooses Albion to help build brand

Online travel agency On the Beach has appointed Albion to help develop its first nationwide advertising campaign.

The company is in the process of overhauling its site otbeach.com and its brand and wants to prepare an integrated campaign for the summer to promote its offerings.

The pitch was overseen by Oystercatchers and marketing director Alistair Daly.

Onthebeach.com was founded in 1995. It has just launched a Facebook application which allows customers to book group holidays together more easily on their website.

Beach Mate is the industry’s first collaborative tool of this type, and lets Facebook users invite their friends and family directly to the booking page of the brand’s site.

On the Beach created the application to make group bookings on the site a more straightforward process and to take any stress and expense away from the party organiser.
