Hipperson’s appointment marks his return to WPP Group after he left RMG Connect in 2009, following its merger into JWT, an initiative successfully completed under his leadership.
Hipperson takes up his appointment at G2 UK with immediate effect and his remit includes overseeing operating units G2 Branding and Design, and G2 Data Dynamics.
He reports to G2 EMEA chief operating officer Pietro Leone.
Hipperson has more than 20 years of marketing agency leadership experience. At RMG Connect, he helped build its proposition and strengths in strategic planning, data and analytics and digital technology platforms.
Previously he was global director of digital relationship marketing at FCBi, and CEO and managing director of MRM London, part of The McCann-Erickson WorldGroup of companies.
