Peperami and Branston dive into chilled food market

Peperami and Branston Pickle are partnering with savoury pastry brand Pork Farms to launch a range of co-branded chilled foods.

Pork Farms will launch three co-branded sausage rolls using the flavours of Peperami, and Branston pickle to give the brand “a new image”.

Alongside the Spicy Hit Peperami, Branston Pickle and Cheese and Branston Pickle sausage rolls, it is also launching Pork and Branston Pickle Pork Pie.

Nigel White, general manager for Pork Farms, says: “Our new co-brand products aim to broaden consumer appeal and drive a new and younger audience to the fixture. As a leading name within the category, the Pork Farms brand aligns seamlessly with the distinctive and iconic names of Peperami and Branston to deliver a product range that will really drives sales.”

Branston marketing manager Kelly Pym adds that the partnership brings the “unique Branston pickle oomph” to the savoury food market.

Premier Foods, recently launched a £10m brand campaign called ’Great Little Ideas’, which aims to give mums hints, tips and twists on how to use some of Britain’s best loved food brands, including Branston.
