Leadership in marketing scheme unveils board members

The Marketing Hall of Legends, the mentoring initiative for young marketers, has unveiled the Board of The Marketing Academy.

The academy launched this month with a programme involving leaders and directors from across the marketing and the advertising industries.

The voluntary Board is made up of Controller of BBC Radio 1 Andy Parfitt, O2 marketing director Sally Cowdry, Cadbury marketing director Phil Rumbol, chief commercial officer of Monsoon and Accessorise group Steve Back, Marketing Week editor Mark Choueke, former RIM MD Charmaine Eggberry, director of GallieGodfrey Gail Gallie, and Sherilyn Shackell, head of the Marketing Hall of Legends and founder of the Marketing Academy.

The board will meet once a quarter in the first year to ensure the Academy is on track.
