The bank is looking to build its local and start-up enterprise business with the six month radio, digital and experiential campaign.
Broadcast activity for the “Take One Small Step” campaign will air on over 30 stations nationwide, including Global’s Heart and Galaxy networks and Bauer’s Magic 105.4 and Big City Network of stations. It includes spot advertising, promotions and features.
The digital campaign will see a partnership between the bank and Global’s new direct-to-business booking service, Radiorunner.co.uk, and Bauer’s Media’s job site, workmoose.co.uk.
In addition, a sponsored competition will see ten regional prizes worth £50,000 each awarded to the business idea judged to be the best during the campaign.
Claire Hilton, head of advertising and branch marketing for Barclays, says the campaign will give the bank the chance “to talk directly to local businesses and get them involved in the campaign.”
