The ad, created by creative production studio Taylor James, promotes the Calor Gas LPGenius system, which acts as an alternative to a mains gas for rural homes and businesses.

The 30-second ad, which was created using CGI animation and 2D/3D visual effects, is set in a “quintessential” English village.

It guides viewers through an idyllic home in rural England with 2D graphics presenting the benefits of Calor’s products.

The ad, titled “Think Tank,” has been commissioned by UK-based advertising agency Cogent Elliott through London Animation Company TANDEM.

It will break today on Channel 4 at 10.10pm.

The TV spot follows the brand’s sponsorship of ’Build a New life in the Country’, which featured idents created by Cogent Elliot, to mark the company’s 75th anniversary.

The TV ads are part of Calor’s marketing strategy to modernise and re-energise the brand and target the two million UK households who do not have access to mains gas.
