Pritt returns to TV after 10 years

Pritt Stick, the Henkel owned glue stick, is returning to television advertising as part of a campaign to support the launch of its Alien Pritt Stick X.

The ad features an alien version of its classic Mr Pritt character, who has not been advertised on TV for 10 years.

The campaign includes two executions, one targeting boys and one targeting girls.

The first 20-second ad sees Mr. Pritt disguised in a black and green alien costume and a flying saucer he crafted using Pritt X.

Pritt hopes the toxic green colour of the new Pritt X will appeal to boys and aims to encourage them to be more creative.

The second ad hopes to appeal to girls and shows how the Pritt Pink is now a much brighter colour that remains on the paper after the glue has dried.

The campaign will run from 31 March to 6 June on ITV and digital channels targeting children, such as Nickelodeon and Tinypop.

As part of a £2.5m campaign for the two brands, Henkel is also launching an Easter TV campaign for its UniBond home DIY range.
