The ad, created by Publicis London, features two thirty second spots, ’Snowflake’ and ’Shake It’, and will run for a total of seven weeks across ITV1, Sky1, MTV, Channel 4, Kiss FM and Facebook.
In the ad, radio personalities DJ Bernhard and MC Wonder Full broadcast music to the world from Radio Maliboom Boom studio on a beach in Barbados.
The ad campaign follows Malibu ’mish-mash’ experiential campaign, with DJ events held across 70 student union bars throughout the UK.
Publicis took over the £25m global Malibu advertising account last May, after winning a pitch against incumbent Droga5.
Patrick Venning, head of marketing for Malibu at Pernod Ricard UK hopes that the new ad campaign will showcase the brand’s ’infectious and playful spirit’.
