The campaign launches across outdoor, print, radio and television, with outdoor breaking today (29 March) and is designed to ramp up excitement about V, a “re-imagining” of the 80s science-fiction series.
The ads feature the strapline “They Are Coming.” The print ads, created in-house, will run in consumer magazines and national and regional press from 6 April, with TV and radio ads airing the week of launch.
The change of the Universal Networks International channel name to Syfy is designed to broaden the positioning of the channel and marketing will carry the new tagline “Imagine Greater”. The rebrand takes place on 13April.
The rebrand also creates a name that can travel easily to non-English speaking territories.
