Marco Pierre White: New show Kitchen Burnout provides Appletiser with the food link it was seeking

The programme, which starts tomorrow (16 April) is a seven-part entertainment series that sees Marco Pierre White set celebrities a series of tough cooking challenges.

Twelve celebrities will be cooking in a professional kitchen for diners all on their own for the very first time. They will be under Marco’s watchful eye and the pressure will be relentless from the start, claims ITV.

The sponsorship package, negotiated by ITV Commercial and Vizeum on behalf of Appletiser, includes broadcast and online.

Appletiser senior brand manager Andy Thompson says/ “Marco’s Kitchen Burnout is a perfect property for Appletiser to link to. We want to showcase how well the Appletiser family goes with food, and the reach that a major ITV1 show gives us will be the starting point of a big 2010 campaign for us.”

ITV Commercial sponsorship manager Kirsten Gillard adds: “This is the first time Appletiser has sponsored a show on ITV. Appletiser was looking to align itself with food-based programming and strengthen its association with meal times, and this new primetime show on ITV1 is the perfect platform from which to showcase its range, including the Pear and Fruit varieties”.

Brave will produce the sponsorship credits.
