The new TV campaign featuring Angela Griffin will air for the first time today (19 April) for 4 weeks and then in July and August for a further 5 weeks.
Viewers will see Griffin, who currently has her own chat show on Sky One and features in Waterloo Road, in a shopping centre revealing to a crowd of women that there is a “delicious new way for them to satisfy their chocolate cravings.”
Fibre Plus is the new chocolate cereal bar from Kellogg’s which also provides consumers with 20pc of their recommended daily fibre intake.
Sally Tribe, Fibre Plus brand manager, says: “Angela was the perfect choice to front our TV campaign for Fibre Plus due to her lively and engaging personality and the instant rapport she has with women. We wanted to convey how satisfyingly chocolately Fibre Plus is to women who love chocolate, and for them to spread the word about this great new discovery.”
The advert was made by Leo Burnett, Ireland and Carat has handled the media buying for the campaign.
Kellogg’s Fibre Plus bars are available in all major mults (Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate & Almond) as well as through Convenience Channels (Milk Choc)
The TV campaign is part of a £2m media campaign for Fibre Plus which also includes print, digital and PR.
