ZenithOptimedia names John Taylor as worldwide chairman

ZenithOptimedia has promoted John Taylor from the position of director of client service to the new position of chairman of ZenithOptimedia Worldwide.

Taylor has been part of the worldwide management team of Publicis-owned ZenithOptimedia since 2005 and has served as a member of the ZenithOptimedia global executive committee.

John will oversee ZenithOptimedia’s global product and client service and will continue to report to Global CEO, Steve King.

In his new role, Taylor will oversee ZenithOptimedia’s service and delivery to multinational clients and help ensure that the media agency’s ROI positioning is reflected in client performance.

London-based ZenithOptimedia Worldwide has made several key appointments to the worldwide team, based in London, in recent months. It has appointed Fred Joseph as chief digital officer, handed a global marketing role to Guy Abrahams, appointed Nico Guiridlian coordinator on EMEA business development and recruited Rob Hill from Billetts to take on the new position of international trading director.

Belinda Rowe has also relocated from ZenithOptimedia Australia, where she was CEO, to take on the role of managing partner worldwide, based in London.
