Save The Children appoints Adam & Eve to its advertising business

Adam & Eve has scooped the £4m advertising business for the charity Save the Children following a final shoot-out with Euro RSCG. The pitch was handled by Oystercatchers.

The charity has recently worked with agencies on a project-by-project basis, but has reinvested in its marketing budget and is planning a substantial brand campaign.

Earlier this year the char ity appointed John Ayling & Associates, working in conjunction with agenda21, to handle its UK media planning and buying.

Wieden & Kennedy is Save The Children’s most recent retained above-the-line agency. It parted company with the charity in 2009. W&K’s final campaign for the client centred on a collection of messages from young people that were delivered to world leaders at the G8 Summit.
