As with the printed version, the app lists all its content according to the month in which it was first published, aired or launched. It also features the prestigious Best in Book section.
This year the Agency of the Year top spot was shared by Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO and Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Moving image work detailed in the Annual can be viewed from the app’s YouTube links to each piece of film, while digital projects point directly to their related websites.
There is also a wealth of extra hi-res imagery included, much of which is not featured in the print version, along with the option to share content via the usual social media networks.
The Annual app was designed and built for Creative Review by Russell Quinn, who also created the highly-regarded Small Chair app for McSweeney’s magazine. It is available from the iTunes App Store, priced £2.99.
