The deal coincides with the launch of BT’s Film Club pack and will give customers access to the Hollywood studio’s film catalogue. They can view up to 28 films a month, with seven titles added each week.

The first on-demand films to be available on WarnerFilms will include Superman, GoodFellas and Zodiac.

BT is looking to sign similar deals with other major film studios this week.

WarnerTV, the film studio’s TV-on-demand service, launched in the UK in 2007 and is available on BT Vision, Virgin Media, Top-Up TV, TalkTalk TV and 3.

Malcolm Dudley-Smith, executive VP of business management at Warner Brothers International Branded Services, said, “In 2007, BT Vision was one of the founding partners for our TV-on-demand service, so it’s fitting that we’re working with it again on the UK launch of WarnerFilms. This brilliant service presents another way of accessing Warner Brothers’ world-class content at the touch of a button 24 hours a day.”

BT Vision customers can subscribe to WarnerFilms for £4.99 a month or join as part of the Film Club pack for £6.99 a month.
