The company lost the multi-million-pound Central Office of Information (COI) digital media account in February after nearly ten years handling the business. The UK’s largest advertiser appointed WPP’s media arm GroupM M4C to run its integrated £250m media planning business.
I-level, which was set up in 1999 by Andrew Walmsley and Charlie Dobres, specialises in search marketing, affiliates, mobile and planning and buying and counts Orange, Samsung and Next as clients. It set up Jam, its social media offering in February 2008. Last year it was ranked fourth in the media agency table in the new media age Top 100 Interactive Agencies Guide, with UK billings of £101m for the 12 months to March 2008.
I-level has confirmed it has gone into administration.
