Airmiles partners with brands such Tesco, Shell and Lloyds TSB and is part of The Mileage Company, owned by British Airways.

Albion will help develop Airmiles’ communication strategy through an integrated advertising campaign, as well as evolve the customer experience online. The agency already works with Air New Zealand.

The pitch was organised by Agency Assessments and the campaign is due to roll out in 2010.

Airmiles has worked with Partners Andres Aldridge on recent campaigns, including the 21st anniversary celebrations

Rahul Patel, Senior Brand Manager, Airmiles says: “More and more customers are realising that belonging to a reward programme like Airmiles allows them to get the most out of their money.

People are particularly attracted to getting free flights just by spending in the place they would usually spend like Tesco or Shell. We are really looking forward to working with Albion to find compelling new ways of talking about the Airmiles proposition.”
