According to a paper by researcher Forrester, 75% of marketing leaders expect to reorganise their operations by the end of 2011.

Kodak says it plans to reposition the role and structure of the office of the chief marketing officer “to best meet the needs of Kodak’s growth strategies.”

Hayzlettt will resign from his position on 28 May, after a year in the role to pursue personal projects and will provide transitional services to Kodak until the end of August.

Hea joined Kodak in 2006 and served as vice president of the company’s Graphic Communications Group. He became the chief business development officer in September 2007, and a corporate vice president in October 2007.

The company appointed him as CMO In January 2009, where he reported to chairman and chief executive officer, Antonio Perez.

“We thank Jeff for his contributions to the company, and we wish him well in his future endeavors,” Perez says.

Hayzlett adds: “Kodak is definitely on the right track, and the time is now right for me to devote my full energy to a variety of personal projects.”
