Dyson rejigs marketing to advance its profile abroad

Dyson has reorganised its marketing department in a bid to boost its profile overseas.

The company has promoted its UK marketing director Adam Rostom to the role of international marketing director.

Dyson’s former global head of marketing for commercial products, Clare Dunbar has replaced him as UK marketing director.

Under the new structure Dunbar will report to Rostom. Both roles are based in the company’s head office in Wiltshire.

Dyson is reviewing its £4m UK media planning and buying account. The account is held by Walker Media and the pitch is being handled by the AAR.

The company’s founder Sir James Dyson has recently announced he is seeking to double the number of engineers working on research and development projects.
