The agency will handle marketing for the denim brand’s global licensing market, including Lee Cooper branded watches, footwear and its Original’s and Red Diamond clothing line from its London office.

Lee Cooper marketing director Andy Dunkley says the agency will now be the brand’s sole marketing partner. It previously handled the brand’s European marketing which was run from Paris.

999 is developing a new online platform for the brand as well as advertising campaigns.

The brand originated in 1908 and was previously owned in the UK by value clothing retailer Matalan. It was bought by US based Sun Capital Partners in 2005.

Lee Cooper unveiled a new logo as part of its centenary celebrations in 2008, along with a clothing collection of t-shirts, jackets and jeans for Lee Cooper based on Origami.
