Jason Uttley, formerly new business director, has been promoted to commercial development director, following the departure of Roz Cuschieri who has been with the company for 12 years.
Uttley will also take a seat on the management board.
Richard Hayes, Warburtons marketing director has also been promoted to the board.
In March, Warbutons launched a TV campaign to highlight the brand’s positioning as a “caring family bakers dedicated to baking the highest quality bread”.
The campaign stars real Warburtons employees as well as members of the Warburtons family and introduced the brand’s new strapline: “We care because our name’s on it.”
The bread maker has recently branched out and extended the Warbutons brand into the snacks category with the launch of ChippidyDooDaa pitta chips and SnackaDoodle wholegrain snacks. The launch of the products is being supported by a £1m marketing drive.
