Polo Ralph Lauren extends Wimbledon sponsorship deal to 2015

Polo Ralph Lauren has signed a deal to continue its global partnership with The All England Club as the official outfitter of The Wimbledon Championships until 2015.

Under the agreement, Polo Ralph Lauren will continue to serve as the official outfitter of all on-court officials including chair umpires, line umpires and ball persons. In 2006, Polo Ralph Lauren became the first designer in Wimbledon’s 133-year history to create official uniforms for the tournament.

As part of this year’s event, which starts next week, Polo Ralph Lauren will introduces the first ever Legends Clinic, a live interactive virtual tennis clinic featuring three times Wimbledon tennis champion  Boris Becker on Thursday (17 June) at Dukes Meadows, London. Tennis enthusiasts around the world will tune in as Becker answers their emailed questions, fed to him by presenter Annabel Croft, demonstrates technique and offers hints and tips on how to improve your game.
