The “Talking Energy Live Tour” launches this week with events being hosted throughout the first week of July.

They will be hosted by TV presenter Philippa Forrester and a panel of experts form the energy sector including Eon.

The Talking Energy tour has been developed by experiential agency RPM. Eon has appointed the agency to handle its direct to consumer strategy.

Jeremy Davies, director of brand and communications at Eon UK, said: “For too long energy companies have been telling customers what they think about energy now it’s time for customers to have their say.”

The series of events build on Eon’s current “Why” and “Energy Fit” campaign which aim to create discussion around energy use and arm customers with the tools to reduce their energy usage.

Rival EDF Energy is currently pushing its Team Green Britain initiative following its second annual “Green Britain Day” on 17 June.
