The loyalty scheme, which is the focus of the brand’s current advertising, is open to both personal and business customers and offers prizes associated to events the mobile operator has sponsored.
As well as the F1, other events covered by the sponsorship include Vodafone London Fashion Weekend in September and music festivals including Leeds, Reading, T in the Park and Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard.
Vodafone says the winning business for the F1 competition will receive “exposure to hundreds of millions of TV viewers world wide, a pair of grandstand tickets to the event and an exclusive tour of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team garage during race weekend.”
The winner will have their logo on each of the two cars racing at Silverstone on 11 July.
