It is the first pack collaboration between the two iconic Italian brands and the first time Missoni’s famous name will appear on UK supermarket shelves.
The brands, which appear together often in Italy, say they “share similar values that epitomise Italian flair, finesse and the ’finer things in life’ and both are founded upon unwavering principles of quality.”
The Missoni bottle will be available for a limited time only and is the first design to form part of S. Pellegrino’s new, “Italian Talents” project.
The project will see the S. Pellegrino bottle entrusted to designers and given a fresh look before appearing on the tables of top restaurants around the globe.
“S. Pellegrino is instantly recognisable by its fine bubbles and subtle mineral aromas and is found on the tables of the world’s top restaurants,” comments Priya Shaheed, brand manager, Nestlé Waters UK.
“Partnering with such an iconic Italian brand was a natural choice given the unquestionable values and originality that the brand has and we are thrilled to be working with them on this project.”
Nielsen figures show S. Pellegrino is the number one premium sparkling water in the UK market, and has been one of the very few brands to grow both in volume and value for the last two years in an otherwise declining market.
Shaheed adds: “This exciting new label will help grow sales for our retail partners and reaffirms our commitment to the category.”
