In this new role he will oversee all aspects of Staples’ brand marketing globally.

Fund, who starts in his job in the second week of July, will report to Staples’ chief operating officer Mike Miles.

During his time at P&G, Fund was most recently responsible for the launch of documentary film series called Gillette UNCUT films, providing fans with a rare glimpse into the worlds of will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, country superstar and actor Tim McGraw, Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and the All-American Rejects featuring Tyson Ritter.

The films were made available on the Gillette website.

Prior to P&G, he was vice president of brand management at Lycos, overseeing all marketing worldwide.

Up to that time he held various brand management leadership roles at Pepsi-Cola Company and worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
