Djalili rides again in Moneysupermarket ad

Moneysupermarket.com has launched the latest in its series of television adverts starring Iranian comedian Omid Djalili.

The ad shows Djalili dressed as a knight dressed in a suit of armour riding a white steed wreaking havoc on a woman’s home with a lance as he describes the benefits of using Moneysupermarket to get a good deal on home and contents insurance.

The ad aims to show that moneysupermarket.com is the easiest way consumers can get a good deal, no matter what they are spending their money on.

It will air for the first time on Sunday (4 July) and will run across terrestrial and digital TV and Video on Demand (VOD) services.

The TV spot was created by MCBD as part of Moneysupermarket’s £20m media campaign. Media planning was handled by Mediacom.

In February, Moneysupermarket reported a 23% fall in revenues for 2009 and launched its marketing campaign starring Djalili in a bid to reverse its fortunes.
