The Woodland Trust has revealed a new “aspirational” brand strapline to highlight a change in its long-term vision.

The environmental charity has adopted the line: “More Trees, More Good” to complement its intertwined oak leaves logo.

The new strapline will act as an umbrella brand for its initiatives and campaigns to increase tree-planting rates and encourage fundraising.

The charity has undergone a strategic review and changed its focus to creating woodland areas on other peoples’ land, as well as its own estates, as part of its aim to double native woodland cover.

The More Trees, More Good campaign hopes to involve individuals and companies in the challenge to see 20 million native trees planted each year. Currently only 6 million are planted per year.

As part of More Trees, More Good, The Woodland trust is offering advisers and help for large and small schemes, schools and community groups and individuals wanting to plant more trees.

Sainsbury’s recently pledged to plant 2 million trees over the next five years as part of its ongoing relationship with The Woodland Trust.
