A GSK spokesperson says Tailor will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of key Lucozade innovation projects.

His appointment follows the announcement that GSK is planning to launch Lucozade into the US and emerging markets including Brazil, Mexico and India as part of a strategy to make the brand more global.

He takes up the global innovation director role on 6 September. Tailor has previously worked for Coca Cola and Unilever.

GSK recently put its £10m advertising business up for pitch and invited incumbent agencies M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy to repitch.

The FMCG manufacturer is also reviewing its media agencies.
