Procter & Gamble launches branded YouTube channel
P&G is to launch a branded channel on YouTube as a hub to host videos about its beauty brands.
As revealed in this week’s new media age Vertical Focus on the beauty sector (nma 29 July 2010), the FMCG giant is to host videos for brands such as Clairol and Oral B on the channel, which will feature celebrities and beauty experts.
One video shows brand ambassador Tess Daly talking to a Clairol stylist about how to colour hair for holidays in the sun, while another features TV presenter Suzi Perry talking to an Oral B dentist about achieving the perfect smile.
Last week, new media age revealed that P&G was to start selling beauty brand Max Factor through a Facebook page via a partnership with online retailer Amazon (nma 22 July 2010).
