Hut Group boosts marketing

The Hut Group, which operates online brands and Argos brands is expanding its marketing team.

Former product marketing manager Sarah Jasper has been promoted to head of business development to oversee the group’s revenue expansion.

Jasper will be adding two further product marketers to The Hut’s team to boost supplier and agency relationships as well as driving growth through emerging product and media channels.

She will also be responsible for growing the group’s profile in the health and beauty and fashion sectors.

The Hut Group currently provides nine retail platforms for Argos, Asda, DSGi, Lovefilm, Shop Direct Group, Tesco, WHSmith, and

The Hut group recently added gift and grooming sites and Washbag,com to its portfolio.

Matt Moulding, The Hut Group’s CEO said, “Sarah has played a pivotal marketing role within our senior team, and has shown the ability to take on a broader senior role in the Group. This role broadens Sarah’s reach across all our product categories with continued development and execution of tactical product planning, as well as multi site brand development.”

Jasper says: “My new team means I’ll have the resource to find more on-pack and promotional deals with mass-market FMCGs and find brands who’d like to engage with our 2.5m active customers directly through our media sales channels.”
