The cereal maker says the additions to the team will strengthen its European and Irish operations.
The company has led its marketing teams from Ireland since moving its European headquarters there in 2005. The marketing team sits alongside Kellogg’s sales, finance, supply chain, legal, HR, corporate affairs and nutrition departments.
Tim Mobsby, president of Kellogg Europe, says: “Our vision is to become the food company of choice and through our European headquarters we are building a centre of excellence here in Dublin, which supports our teams in their local markets.”
Kellogg is currently looking for a permanent replacement for marketing director Kevin Brennan who left the company on 22 July to join Premier Foods.
Peter Harrison, marketing controller will take over as acting head of marketing in the interim.
Earlier this month, Kellogg reintroduced its annual “Wake Up To Breakfast” marketing campaign in a bid to boost sales of its cereal ranges.
The £1.5m campaign will include broadcast, print and online advertising.
