Founder returns to Arena’s luxury goods division

Arena Media has lured Tim Bullen, the founder of Red, the agency’s premium and luxury specialist division, back to the agency as managing director.

Bullen, who founded Red in 1994 before it was acquired by Arena Media in January 2006, will be tasked with developing Arena Red’s offer and helping align its premium and luxury fashion and retail client base with the agency’s other specialisms and experts.

He will work closely with Arena Quantum and Arena Media’s press department to open up new opportunities for brands to improve the performance of their creative and media budgets.

Bullen will develop the opportunities for premium and luxury brands to capitalise on digital media, including search and display, social media and mobile.

Steve Booth, chief executive of Arena Media, says: “It’s fantastic news for Arena Media that Tim is returning. He has a wealth of experience in the premium and luxury sector and a proven track record winning business, growing and managing clients. With Tim at the helm of Red we can only expect further growth and success.”

Arena Red clients include, Bulgari, D Squared, Fat Face, Filofax, Hoss Intropia, Imagine Fashion, Smythson of Bond Street and Timberland.
