Head & Shoulders to sponsor Soccer AM

Head & Shoulders has signed up to sponsor the new season of Sky Sport’s morning football show Soccer AM.

The sponsorship takes in the main Soccer AM programme, Soccer AM Best bits and broadcast on VOD services Sky Anytime, Sky Player as well as online broadcast on skysports.com.

The deal begins when the series launches on 14 August.

It will include branded opening and closing credits to the show and during the ad breaks, branding on the Sky Sports website and references throughout Soccer AM promos.

Soccer AM is presented by Max Rushden and Helen Chamberlain and airs every Saturday morning during the football season.

It is broadcast across Sky Sports channels Sky Sports HD1, Sky 1 HD and Sky player. Best Bits airs throughout the week.

James Nunn, Head & Shoulders brand communications manager says: “Head & Shoulders is the no.1 selling shampoo in the UK, with more than 6 million men using it everyday. We are really excited about teaming up with Soccer Am as both the show and our brand appeal to the everyday man on the street, so it’s a natural fit.”

Earlier in the year Head & Shoulders revealed Formula One champion Jenson Button as the brand’s ambassador.

Last month, Sky signed a deal with Top Up TV to allow Freeview customers to watch Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2.
