Sinnock (pictured) left Asda and his position as marketing director, strategy, insight and advertising after only 15 months in June. He was replaced by Jon Owen.

Sinnock, who has worked at O&M previously, will relocate to Singapore and take up his role on 20 September. He is also a former chief strategy officer at Fallon London where he led the ASDA account to help the Wal-Mart subsidiary develop its marketing strategy.

He will work across key accounts in the Asia Pacific region and joins Ogilvy’s global planning team, headed by Colin Mitchell in New York.

O&M has just appointed Russell Davies as Head of Planning in Ogilvy EMEA.
