Kate Moss and Topshop part ways
Topshop has revealed that its three-year fashion partnership with model Kate Moss has come to an end.
The model’s autumn/winter collection, her fourteenth for the high street retailer, will be the last regular Topshop range she creates.
Moss may return to design one-off capsule collections, but is thought to be pursuing other opportunities.
The model has created two seasonal collections a year for Sir Philip Green’s flagship retail chain since joining forces with the Arcadia boss in May 2007.
She has also appeared in advertising for Topshop and appeared as a live mannequin in the window of the flagship Oxford Street store.
Moss was also a leading figure in the launch of Topshop in the US in April 2009.
The Topshop/Moss partnership was the first in a number of celebrity tie-ups with high street fashion chains such as Lily Allen for New Look, Madonna for H&M and Pixie Lott for Lipsy.
