Experian Marketing Services appoints MD

Global information services company Experian has named Mark Zablan as managing director of Experian Marketing Services, UK and Ireland.

Zablan was previously group president of marketing services, Experian North America. He takes over the MD role at the marketing services arm from Jim Hodgkins, who now moves to take a global role as executive vice president for the division.

The company says that Zablan will play a key role in growing the Experian Marketing Services business in the UK and Ireland as it focuses increasingly on digital channels.

Charlotte Hogg, managing director of Experian, UK and Ireland, says: “Mark’s leadership skills and first-class understanding of the marketplace will play a pivotal role in developing the Experian Marketing Services business in the UK and Ireland. His experience in growing digital marketing capabilities will further enhance our position as experts in helping marketers understand and anticipate consumer behaviours across all channels.”

Earlier this year BSkyB announced a partnership with Experian to create a new joint venture focused on database marketing.
